"When shifts and transitions shake you to the core, see that as a sign of greatness that’s about to occur." - Anonymous
Bernadette could not see a sign of greatness in the life trials she has been experiencing in her life. First, she lived through the genocide against Tutsi in Rwanda. After that, circumstances pushed her to exile in Europe with her two kids, where she had to start her life literally from zero.
Then she moved to America (US) and started again a new life from scratch. Through those tough life transitions, she has come to see the meaning of the saying that “what doesn’t kill you makes you stronger”.
Once in the land of opportunities, however, she was puzzled to notice that, despite all the riches this country has to offer, some people live afar from a happy life… even worse than in certain poor areas of the world.
Hungry to understand the functioning of the human mind, she decided to undertake a study program in Sciences of Psychology at the Divine Mercy University. She wanted to find out answers to questions:
Why is the human mind resilient, powerful in tough situations, and fragile, weak, fearful in less painful situations?
Why is the human person always expecting the worst to happen?
What are the hindrances to a human person's flourishing and how to avoid them?
Armed with her Master’s degree in Psychology from the Divine Mercy University, her expertise in life transitions and challenges, and driven by the determination of making a difference in people’s lives, she decided to do something; to become a helping professional in life coaching; to help one soul at a time go through life challenges and transitions, with a serene mindset.
She wants to help you discover the power within yourself, to help you have faith in life instead of fear, and to live a flourishing life despite your circumstances. We were born to be happy, to enjoy this journey called “Life”.
